E-L-I-Z-A
Eliza has been taking a cheerleading class after school for the last few weeks. Today was the last day and the parents were invited for a little presentation. Eliza thought cheerleading was fabulous!

Mulan
Julia was in her middle school's production of Mulan this weekend. She was hairdresser #3. They all did an excellent job and the scenery was quite impressive!!

Eliza's birthday party
Eliza decided she wanted a Webkinz themed birthday party this year. I decided to be brave this year and actually let her invite 15 girls. Yikes!! I had to make sure I had my organizational A-game on!!
The party went very well considering the number of guests. As they entered, they had their pet examined at Dr. Quack's clinic. Anna did a superb job as Dr. Quack and pretty much stole the show. The girls went there every chance they got! I also had the "arcade" set up with about 6 different Webkinz related games. For crafts they decorated homemade ponchos for their webkinz and made crowns of wonder. At the end they were able to cash in their Kinzcash they won playing the arcade games for goody bag gifts.
Eliza claimed it was the best party ever. Probably because she got the most gifts ever :)

Super Speller
Anna had a pretty good week of accolades. She placed second in her school for the spelling bee. Since her school has almost 1700 students, that is awesome!!
She also was one of four in the school to present the online website, PBWiki, at an Educational Technology convention in Hershey. When she came home, she said she had given more than 72 presentations and was also interviewed by several reporters. Woo-Hoo, Anna. You go girl!!

American Girls
Anna and Eliza have a wonderful opportunity this month to be in the American Girl Fashion Show to support the Ronald McDonald House. Anna is portraying the character Ivy and Eliza is the Berry Bitty Baby. Eliza is thrilled with the venture and Anna has made it clear that she is just doing this for a good cause.

A star is born
Our church has a wonderful new website (www.friend.lds.org) for the children to look at articles, do games, and sing songs. Eliza had quite fun singing all her favorite primary songs.
